Unfortunately due to some computer problems we have lost all our photos of Christmas apart from the few below. A day of firsts.

We hope you all like the latest pictures. As you can see, Nesta is a real smiler! As you can see, we all had a lovely day out at the park last week and enjoyed what may be the last of this years sunshine!
Today Nesta, Grace any Mummy had a nice day at Nanny's house which was a first for Nesta. The day out must have inspired Nesta as later in the evening she managed to roll over (from back to front) and sucked her thumb effectvely for the first time. It may be the roll over was a fluke (hopefully!) but only time will tell!!

First days at pre-school

Almost just to prove how fast children grow up, Grace started pre-school last week. She loved every minute and even cried when we left after the first day. She especially loved doing some painting (and Mummy loved the fact all the mess was for someone else to clear away!).
Nesta is growing really fast weighing 10 lbs 5 ozs at her weigh in last week. She has also started to smile which is truly wonderful.

New bedroom and big girls pants!

Grace has now moved into her "big girls" bed in her new bedroom and has settled in well. We have also begun the "exciting" stage of potty training. Grace was fairly unsettled for the first few days but now seems to have found her feet again and we are both so proud of her success. Most days she stays dry all day with no fuss about using the potty at all. Also after we started potty training we noticed Grace had an ulcer on her tongue which was clearly quite painful so that probably explains why she was so unsettled to begin with. Now she is much improved and the ulcer has almost gone. We now hope to enjoy the next 5 weeks or so with just the 3 of us before no 2 arrives and turns everything upside down once again!

Holiday

As you can see from the pictures we've just returned from a break in Cornwall. The weather was kind enough for us to go on the beach one day and as you can see Grace enjoyed a paddle in the sea. We are all keeping well, including jnr, who is kicking all the time now. (ouch!) Grace talks all the time and is starting to make simple sentance's - the most frequent being "Grace do it!" showing her growing Independence. Tomorrow we hope to move Grace into her new bedroom so she has plenty of time to settle in before baby no2 arrives.
